ZERO HES

Zero HES are the lightweight sticks byOxDog. Shafts Zero HES belong to lightweight sticks, but their weight is rather medium. As the name suggests, this stick is built mainly on HES technology. It is around +/- 230 - 250 grams. However, their balance is excellent. You can find all the Oxdog technologies directly on the stick. On top of the shaft you can find a list of the used technologies. Here is the list of used technologies:

  • SBS (Stick Balance System) - This is the designation of the small interchangeable weight. This is a 20 gram weight that you can place in the plug of the stick and thus you can shift the center of gravity of the stick by up to 45 mm.
  • Carbon T2000 - OxDog uses several types of carbon from T600 to T2500. The T600 is the heaviest carbon and the T2500 is the lightest. Sticks with this designation therefore use one of the lightest carbons. The stick is more durable with heavier carbon. Heavier sticks are therefore more durable than the floorball stick with low weight.
  • Blow Molded - This is the designation of the stick's manufacturing process. This is air pressure pressing. The material together with the resin (the glue that holds the stick together) is inserted into the mold. The mold is heated to the desired temperature. After reaching this temperature, the material is pressed into a predetermined mold by air pressure. This technological process can create sticks of any shape (oval, round, hockey), perfect balance and high strength at the same time.
  • HES resin is type of resin used for this sticks. Lightweight HES resin is used to achieve the lightest possible stick. So the shaft with HES resin are the lightweight floorball sticks.
  • Hyper fast is the category of your stick strength and speed. OxDog divides its shafts into 4 groups (Hyper, Ultra, Super and Medium fast). Floorball shafts Hyper fast have the highest speed and thus transfer the most energy to your shoots. So hyper fast sticks are the fastest sticks!

HES

HES - or HIGH ENERGY SHAFT. This is a unique combination of stick technology. The combination of these factors creates sticks, which are:

  • extremely light
  • high strength
  • at least 20% faster
  • have almost twice the service life

Holding profile

There are several types of floorball stick profiles. You can get used to each of these types and there is no universal recommendation as to which profile is the best. It is purely a subjective feeling. So we have all floorball profiles:

  • ROUND - This is a round handling shape. 90% of floorball sticks have this round handling shape.
  • OVAL - This is an oval handling shape. This oval handling shape provides a firmer grip on the stick, but there is higher weight because of more material. This type of handling shape is suitable for players with larger palms.
  • SWEOVAL - This is an oval profile. The name SWEOVAL stands for Swedish Oval. This Swedish oval differs from the classic oval by its size (SWEOVAL is less noticeable). Basically, we can say that the Swedish Oval is an intermediate between the classic round grip and the oval grip.
  • D-OVAL This is a square handling shape with rounded corners. This grip is specific to OxDog sticks. The basic shape of the grip is oval, but the upper part is flattened by 5 mm, so the final shape is a square. However, compared to the HOCKEY handling shape (square profile ), the edges are rounded.

OxDog Avox

Oxdog Avox is a floorball blade developed for shooting! The Avox blade is one of the best-selling blades of the OxDog brand and we recommend it to all shooters, especially those who like to sweeper shoots.

The construction of the Avox blade is different from other OxDog blades, mainly due to the added oblique ribs. The blade therefore has horizontal, horizontal and oblique ribs. The heel is reinforced with both ribs and filled holes. This makes the heel very stable. This construction makes the Avox a highly torsionally rigid blade that holds its shape and transfers your energy to the shoots very well.

The Avox is the blade with the highest concavity of all the OxDog blades. Its concavity is 9.5mm. Such a recess ensures excellent ball control and an accurate shot by pulling. The cavity of the blade starts at the heel and leads obliquely to the tip of the blade. The tip of the blade is slightly bent inwards, but not downwards. This shaped tip improves the ball control at the tip of the blade.

The blade is significantly pre-bent with a slight rounding on the backhand side. This pre-bend begins in the last third of the blade and smoothly passes to the tip, which is pulled up and inwards. The tip of the blade does not form a classic hook, but rather continues with concavity. This results in excellent ball control.

OxDog Touch GRIP

OxDog Touch GRIP is a grip in which great emphasis was placed on its durability, especially in the most stressed parts so that this grip can withstand the maximum possible load and the speed of its wear was minimal. It holds perfectly in the hands, does not slip and wicks sweat away perfectly.

Key properties:

  • standard long grip
  • excellent anti-slip properties
  • extra long life
  • very pleasant grip with perforation for better sweat wicking
  • vibration absorption
