VX HES is the name of the lightweight floorball sticks by OxDog. The VX HES shafts are made of premium carbon. Although this premium carbon has managed to reduce the weight of these sticks, their weight is around +/- 230 grams. On the other hand, their balance and especially their durability is excellent. VX HES shafts give you perfect balance, hard and accurate shots and really high durability. The main difference of this series compared to other series is the technology: TRIAD-X shaft - special shaft profile. This is not a grip profile, but the shape of the shaft between the blade and the grip. The Triad shaft is a triangle shaped shaft with a molded X shape. According to the manufacturer, this shaft is more durable and offers you higher stick speed = sharper shots!
You can find all the Oxdog technologies directly on the stick. There are pictures of the used technologies on the floorball stick. Here is the list of them:
HES - or HIGH ENERGY SHAFT. This is a unique combination of stick technology. The combination of these factors creates sticks, which are:
There are several types of handling shapes, but there is no universal recommendation which shape is the best. It is just a subjective feeling. The OxDog handling shapes are:
Oxdog Avox is a floorball blade developed for shooting! The Avox blade is one of the best-selling blades of the OxDog brand and we recommend it to all shooters, especially those who like to sweeper shoots.
The construction of the Avox blade is different from other OxDog blades, mainly due to the added oblique ribs. The blade therefore has horizontal, horizontal and oblique ribs. The heel is reinforced with both ribs and filled holes. This makes the heel very stable. This construction makes the Avox a highly torsionally rigid blade that holds its shape and transfers your energy to the shoots very well.
The Avox is the blade with the highest concavity of all the OxDog blades. Its concavity is 9.5mm. Such a recess ensures excellent ball control and an accurate shot by pulling. The cavity of the blade starts at the heel and leads obliquely to the tip of the blade. The tip of the blade is slightly bent inwards, but not downwards. This shaped tip improves the ball control at the tip of the blade.
The blade is significantly pre-bent with a slight rounding on the backhand side. This pre-bend begins in the last third of the blade and smoothly passes to the tip, which is pulled up and inwards. The tip of the blade does not form a classic hook, but rather continues with concavity. This results in excellent ball control.
The blade contains a carbon plate. When you choose a floorball stick by OxDog, you may notice the letters MB/MBC or NB/NBC on Oxdog. These letters indicate the hardness of the blade (MB - medium Blade, NB - normal(soft) Blade). The letter C in the name indicates the embedded carbon plate in the blade. (MBC - medium Blade with Carbon, NBC - normal Blade with Carbon). The carbon plate should prevent the blade from twisting and make the blade more rigid. The blade is harder and therefore better transfers energy to your shoots = harder shoots! You can also find the designation MBC/NBC + number (2) on Oxdog floorball sticks. This is a classic blade with a carbon plate, just the number indicates the number of these plates.
OxDog Touch GRIP is a grip in which great emphasis was placed on its durability, especially in the most stressed parts so that this grip can withstand the maximum possible load and the speed of its wear was minimal. It holds perfectly in the hands, does not slip and wicks sweat away perfectly.
