Oxdog Delta is a floorball blade that has the maximum allowed dimensions and good weight (70g) too. The basic idea of this blade was: "Create a blade that will give you great ball control and hard shoot at the same time. "
The Delta blade is also a torsionally rigid blade. This rigidity is caused by the design of the blade. The heel is traditionally reinforced by a continuation of the neck of the blade, which leads down to the bottom edge of the blade and continues further forward here. The blade also has reinforcement from the bottom edge up where it continues towards the tip. In this way, the entire area of the blade heel is reinforced.
Oxdog Delta has a concavity of 8.5 mm. The cavity extends evenly from the heel to the tip with a slight apex at the heel of the blade. Since the whole blade is slightly undercut, the whole cavity has its center shifted slightly downwards. Thus, the ball does not move in the middle of the blade, but along its bottom edge. This design improves ball control and work, but it makes worse the backhand game.
The entire blade is slightly pre-bent. Pre-bending begins in the first third of the blade and continues evenly to the tip. The tip of the blade turns slightly inwards. The result of this bend is excellent sweeper shoot. We would therefore recommend this blade to shooters or playmakers. The blades weight is 70 grams.
The blade contains a carbon plate. When you choose a floorball stick by OxDog, you may notice the letters MB/MBC or NB/NBC on Oxdog. These letters indicate the hardness of the blade (MB - medium Blade, NB - normal(soft) Blade). The letter C in the name indicates the embedded carbon plate in the blade. (MBC - medium Blade with Carbon, NBC - normal Blade with Carbon). The carbon plate should prevent the blade from twisting and make the blade more rigid. The blade is harder and therefore better transfers energy to your shoots = harder shoots! You can also find the designation MBC/NBC + number (2) on Oxdog floorball sticks. This is a classic blade with a carbon plate, just the number indicates the number of these plates.
