The Fat Pipe BOOM is basically a combination of the RAGE and JAB blades.** The difference is in the torsional stiffness of the blade. You could say that the BOOM blade is a pioneer in the torsionally stiff blade category. This blade is significantly concave, which is unusual for a Fat Pipe. Only the Jai-Alai blade has the same concavity. The concavity of the blade is not the same throughout its length. The greatest degree of concavity is at the base of the blade. It gradually decreases towards the tip. The tip of the blade has almost no concavity. This blade design is excellent for draw shooting. The gradual reduction in concavity causes the blade to suck the ball in at the base. It holds the ball in place for the entire shot and the tip ejects the ball. **It's basically a whip.
