BEAT is a handling shape of your floorball stick. There are several types of handling shapes, but there is no universal recommendation which shape is the best. It is just a subjective feeling. BEAT is a HOCKEY/SQUARE profile of your floorball stick. Floorball sticks with oval and hockey profile are generally heavier, so Fat Pipe uses a lightweight material here, which reduces the weight of the stick. Fat Pipe handling shapes are:
The ORC floorball blade by the Fat Pipe is one of the best blades for technical types of players. Basically it is the most versatile blade by the Fat Pipe. The ORC is a straight blade. This blade has a distinctly smooth and straight backhand side. The result is an excellent backhand game. The forehand side has a concavity of 8 mm, which is the same from the heel to the tip of this blade. The ORC blade is slightly curved at about two-thirds of its length, but the tip still remains straight. Which is not ideal for sweeper shoot at all. Unfortunately, you will also not find the classic Fat Pipe hook on this blade. So sweeper shoot is really more challenging with this blade. However, if you have mastered the technique, it is not an problem for you.
ORC is a rigid blade, not as rigid as, for example, the PWR blade, but it is ideal for slap shot. This fact is also supported by the 5 longitudinal ribs and their fillings in the lower and upper row, which increase the rigidity of the blade. Because of the low weight these fillings are not in the whole parts, but have oval holes in them. Which is just one of the many characteristics of this blade.
The Fat Pipe ORC blades are lightweight, with an even recess. They are pre-bent, but they have the straight tip and increased rigidity against unwanted bending. It is one of the most universal blades suitable especially for technical types of players, but it is also popular with shooters. Mainly due to excellent slap shoot. Their weight is 71 grams.
Blades with this marking have a different neck shape. It is not a classic round, but flat (square). This means that you will not put a classic stick on this blade, but only sticks from Fat Pipe, which they have in the name BEAT!
FatPipe Sticky Grip is made of anti-slip material that absorbs sweat very well.
