This technology gives you the lightest floorball sticks by Fat Pipe. Normal carbon shafts have six or seven layers of carbon fibers, each layer being 0.15 mm thick. Shaft Raw Concept has 11 layers of carbon fiber, each layer has just 0.07 mm. The use of more extremely thin layers ensures high flexibility and elasticity and very low total weight.
"RAW" in the name of the stick technology refers to the raw design of its surface. Polishing the stick is a final treatment in which the upper carbon fibers can be broken. This will not happen with unpolished floorball sticks! Unpolished floorball sticks have a higher quality than polished shaft. Negative factors in this process are design errors, such as the fact that the surface of the stick isn't smooth and bubbles can be seen on it.
There are several types of handling shapes, but there is no universal recommendation which shape is the best. It is just a subjective feeling. For example: BEAT is a HOCKEY/SQUARE profile of your floorball stick. Floorball sticks with oval and hockey profile are generally heavier, so Fat Pipe uses a lightweight material here, which reduces the weight of the stick. Fat Pipe handling shapes are:
The Bone blade was created for the 2017/2018 season, it first appeared on the All black series at the beginning of 2017. The Bone is probably the most solid blade by Fat Pipe. The blade is straight with a relatively small hook on its tip.
The shape of the blade is very original. Bone is a relatively straight blade with a greater concavity at the base of the blade. This concavity gradually decreases towards the tip. Thanks to its flatness and low concavity, this blade is excellent for backhand shooting.
The construction and layout of the ribs makes the blade and especially its tip very strong! The bottom and top edges are filled. If you take a closer look at the blade, you will see that the ribs are wider in the front part than in the back part of the blade. This results in greater rigidity of the tip of the blade and at the same time better control over the ball and, most importantly, excellent percussion shooting. The thick middle rib also provides a softer touch while reducing any bouncing of the balls, so the ball holds nice on the blade. Its weight is 71 grams.
Raw concept grip - The lightest grip made by Fat Pipe. It is not perforated, but it absorbs a sweat very well and doesn't creep.
No perforated.
