The Bone blade was created for the 2017/2018 season, it first appeared on the All black series at the beginning of 2017. The Bone is probably the most solid blade by Fat Pipe. The blade is straight with a relatively small hook on its tip.
The shape of the blade is very original. Bone is a relatively straight blade with a greater concavity at the base of the blade. This concavity gradually decreases towards the tip. Thanks to its flatness and low concavity, this blade is excellent for backhand shooting.
The construction and layout of the ribs makes the blade and especially its tip very strong! The bottom and top edges are filled. If you take a closer look at the blade, you will see that the ribs are wider in the front part than in the back part of the blade. This results in greater rigidity of the tip of the blade and at the same time better control over the ball and, most importantly, excellent percussion shooting. The thick middle rib also provides a softer touch while reducing any bouncing of the balls, so the ball holds nice on the blade. Its weight is 71 grams.
FH, or factory hook means the factory pre-bending of the blade. It doesn't matter if this blade is JAB, ORC, PWR or BONE. FH technology (bending) can be applied to any blade. So what is FH? FH is a simple pre-bend of the blade. The classic manufacturing process ends when the blade is extruded. FH bending continues. The blade is heated up and its tip bends inwards and down. According to the degree of bending, we distinguish 2 types of FH bending:
The blade modified in this way will help you with handles, passing, wrist shooting and a little bit also with sweeper shoot, but it is not significant for sweeper shoot. There is almost no difference between a slap shot and a backand game compared to the original version of the blade.
