MCT is an additive that can enhance energy and tame hunger. Different forms of MCT can be metabolized differently. Sustainable MCT oil converted into ketones can have a role as a fuel source for brain cells.
Most MCT types can contain either C8 or C10. In this case, C8 also known as Caprylic acid is a fatty acid that is easily digestible and transfers into energy faster than MCT types that contain a C8/C10 combination.
Start with 2 times a small (5ml) spoon a day. Increase your intake slowly to 2-3 table-spoons (15ml) of MCT oil per day. It’s best to take it at a minimum of half an hour before your meal.
