The Asics GEL-SONOMA 7 running shoes are reliable trail shoes with excellent grip on unpaved surfaces. The midsole is made of dampening AMPLIFOAM™ material, which is designed to provide excellent cushioning, flexibility and absorb impact with every step forward. Additional cushioning abounds with the familiar GEL™ silicone technology, which is located under the heel where it absorbs impact energy and allows for a smooth transition to the toe. The upper consists of a special breathable mesh. A comfortable run is guaranteed by the breathable antibacterial Ortholite® insole, which combats mould and odour. The lace fastening fixes the foot well in the shoe and, in addition, each athlete can tighten it according to his or her preference. The great advantage of this model is the GORE-TEX® membrane, which is both water repellent and breathable.
