Unihoc Shinguard FLOW pair

These professional knee pads are designed with long-term, demanding catching in mind. Their shape is specially adapted to the bent shape of the knees, which means they perfectly follow the anatomy of the knees and fit as close to the body as possible. This ensures maximum comfort and a firm fit. Thanks to the optimum shape and the padding materials used, they eliminate knee sores, which helps to prolong their life and guarantee maximum protection.

On both sides of the protector (above and below the knee) there is an extended adhesive layer of material that ensures a firm and stable fit on the leg. Thanks to this measure, the protector does not move even a millimetre. The fixation on the leg is ensured by two strong elastic bands, which are fastened with micro Velcro fasteners. This type of Velcro not only holds the leg perfectly in place, but also keeps the fabric of the inside of the pants safe.

In addition, the thickened foam of the protector is positioned to allow natural movement of the knees without restriction. This foam is distributed on both the inside and outside of the pad, which ensures protection of the knee even during sideways impacts, which can occur when jumping sideways for the ball.

The rear side of the pad features breathable elastic fabric that allows air to flow freely to the knees and wick away sweat. In addition, two rubber bands are added to stabilize the back of the protector and ensure a firm fit to the leg.

The Unihoc Flow is made of durable, but slightly thinner, perforated neoprene. The upper and lower sections feature a sewn-on hem that is narrow and elasticated. Both sides also feature a 6cm wide elastic band to ensure the Unihoc Flow stays in place during matches and training sessions. This elastic has an inner 'fuzzy' layer that attaches to a sewn-in flat Velcro strap measuring approximately 6x10 cm. However, this is a different type of Velcro than what you usually find on similar pads.

The top edge on the inside has a silicone strip that further helps to hold the knee pads in place. The knee protector includes a neoprene cover that has a soft pile surface on the inside. Reduces the risk of chafing and ensures comfort while wearing.

Protective padding is sewn on the outside of the knees. The padding is considerably thick, about 25 mm in the thickest parts.
