Even the second generation of the Salming Rival model by its purpose fits into the group of basic models of indoor shoes, which will delight every fan of indoor activities especially with its universality, durability and well-crafted cushioning. Compared to the first generation, the Salming Rival 2 has a completely redesigned upper.
The two-layer upper consists of a combination of durable and breathable polyester knit, which is equipped with a polyurethane layer to increase stability and protection. The entire upper structure of the shoes is additionally *stitched to increase durability and offers an ideal compromise between strength and comfort *.
Dampening is provided by the medium-high midsole made of an EVA foam mixture. This foam mixture has very quality damping properties and at the same time is able to return part of the energy to each bounce.
The sole is made of durable, non-staining rubber and is equipped with a special Salming HexaGrip™ pattern for maximum grip. The correct functioning of the feet is helped by its distribution using Salming TGS62/75 technology, and to increase stability, it is equipped with a stabilizing reinforcement in the area of the arch.

Shoe construction and technology used
Upper of shoe
Keeps the foot in place
Salming Heelcup™ technology creates a so-called heel cup in the heel area, which is medium hard, anatomically shaped and helps to stabilize and fix the foot in the shoe.
Midsole - cushioning of the shoe
Reduction of the negative consequences of the impact, energy into the rebound
The cushioning compound made of EVA foam very well absorbs the negative forces during stepping, and on the contrary, it returns part of the expended energy to the reflection.
Sole - the sole of the shoe
Durability and extra good grip for all indoor sports
The sole of the model consists of a special rubber mixture that excels with perfect traction control and great grip. This is further enhanced by the special Salming HexaGrip™ pattern made up of small hexagons.
Comfort at impact, energy for rebound
Salming TGS 62/75° technology divides the sole of the shoe into 2 parts.
The first part - from the heel to the ball of the foot - makes up approximately 62% of the sole area, and is designed with regard to maximum stability and shock absorption.
It is separated from the second part – the front part of the sole – by the so-called ballet line, which is guided by the sole at an angle of 75°. This split ensures that the shoe flexes in just the right place to stimulate the feet's natural lateral and forefoot curves. The front part of the shoe is then designed for maximum rebound efficiency.
