Construction and playing characteristics
The FLOORBEE Starter blade features 0 mm concavity, meaning a completely flat profile. This shape helps players learn proper ball handling technique without relying on a pre-shaped cavity.
A key feature is the double-sided design – the blade is not curved to either side. This allows players to try both forehand and backhand naturally and discover which side suits them better.
The flat construction supports precise fundamentals in passing, receiving, and first shots, as players must rely on technique rather than blade shape.
Stability and energy transfer
The solid construction helps maintain blade shape even during frequent training. This ensures consistent response with every ball contact.
The absence of concavity provides less support during shooting, but forces players to use proper technique, which is essential for long-term development.
Who is the FLOORBEE Starter blade ideal for
The FLOORBEE Starter blade is an ideal choice for complete beginners and young players learning the basics of floorball.
It is especially appreciated by:
- children and beginners
- coaches and schools for training fundamentals
- players still choosing their playing side
- players focused on proper technique from the start
The Starter blade is perfect for anyone who wants to build strong technical foundations without compromise.
