The HYPERLIGHT 2.0 HST floorball stick raises the bar even higher, delivering a new level of speed, responsiveness, and technical precision. Building on the success of the previous Hyperlight generation, it features an enhanced shaft with HST – High Speed Technology™, which maximizes energy transfer and provides instant feedback with every ball touch.
At the core of this stick is a highly responsive shaft, built on a proven construction that emphasizes lightness and performance. HYPERLIGHT 2.0 HST is designed for players who demand top-level performance, lightning-fast reactions, and uncompromising control in every situation on the court.
Introducing the revolutionary category of floorball sticks from Oxdog - HST, or High Speed Technology. In an environment where every second is worth its weight in gold and shooting accuracy can decide the entire game, HST brings innovations that take performance and speed to unprecedented levels.
HST - innovation for maximum speed and accuracy:
- The latest in carbon stick performance technology.
- Designed for fast shaft response, increasing speed and accuracy.
- Ideal for fast shooting situations, improves gameplay in dynamic moments.
- Advanced HST resin system and HST carbon deliver the promise of:
- Exceptional strength and durability.
- Incredible speed and precision.
Handling shapes
There are several types of handling shapes, but there is no universal recommendation which shape is the best. It is just a subjective feeling. The Oxdog handling shapes are:
- ROUND - This is a round handling shape. 90% of floorball sticks have this round handling shape.
- OVAL - This is an oval handling shape. This oval handling shape provides a firmer grip on the stick, but there is higher weight because of more material. This type of handling shape is suitable for players with larger palms.
- SWEOVAL - This is an oval profile. The name SWEOVAL stands for Swedish Oval. This Swedish oval differs from the classic oval by its size (SWEOVAL is less noticeable). Basically, we can say that the Swedish Oval is an intermediate between the classic round grip and the oval grip.
- D-OVAL This is a square handling shape with rounded corners. This grip is specific to Oxdog sticks. The basic shape of the grip is oval, but the upper part is flattened by 5 mm, so the final shape is a square. However, compared to the HOCKEY handling shape (square profile ), the edges are rounded.
The Oxdog HIGHLIGHT CARBON blade is an extremely lightweight universal blade designed for players who want maximum ball feel, quick stick handling, and accurate shooting. With a weight of only 62 g, it is one of the lightest blades in the Oxdog range. The 9 mm concavity supports reliable ball control and smooth handling during technical play.
The HIGHLIGHT blade is structurally based on the performance-oriented Oxdog GATE blade but brings even lower weight and a softer, more precise feel. Thanks to the integrated MBC carbon plate, it offers high torsional stiffness and highly efficient energy transfer into the shot.
Why choose the Oxdog HIGHLIGHT CARBON blade
- extremely low weight of around 62 g
- 9 mm concavity for precise ball guidance
- carbon plate for higher stiffness and more accurate shots
- excellent blade for technical play and fast ball handling
- stable construction inspired by the Oxdog GATE blade
Construction and playing characteristics
The Oxdog HIGHLIGHT CARBON blade features 9 mm concavity, starting at the heel and continuing smoothly towards the toe. This shape improves ball guidance and enhances feel during fast stick handling.
The slightly closed toe helps keep the ball secure on the blade during technical play. This supports quick handling and accurate drag shots.
Stability and energy transfer
A solid frame and stable rib structure ensure high torsional stiffness. The integrated MBC carbon plate reduces blade twisting during shooting and improves energy transfer efficiency.
The result is fast shooting, high accuracy, and very responsive feedback with every ball touch.
Who is the Oxdog HIGHLIGHT CARBON blade ideal for
The Oxdog HIGHLIGHT CARBON blade is ideal for players who prefer lightweight equipment, technical play, and quick ball handling.
It is especially appreciated by:
