Brand BLADES

Welcome to the wide category of floorball blades from the renowned brand Fat Pipe. Here you will find everything you need for optimal gaming performance.

The blade is the heart of your floorball stick and we offer you a wide selection of models for different playing styles. With innovative technologies and precision workmanship, Fat Pipe blades provide the optimal combination of power, control and precision shooting. Whether you prefer a fast attack, precision shots or hard shooting, Fat Pipe blades will help you achieve your goals on the court.

Fat Pipe Blade Materials

  • PE-H - hard material suitable due to its hardness especially for percussion shooting.

  • PE - medium hard material universal for all types of shooting.

  • PP - medium hard material for better control of the ball.

  • PP BOOST - medium hard and lightweight material, based on PP material.

FH technology (bend)

FH, or factory hook, means factory bending (pre-bending) of the blade. It doesn't matter if this blade is JAB, ORC, PWR or even BONE. FH technology (bend) can be applied to any blade. So what is FH? FH is a simple pre-bend of the blade. The classic production process ends when the blade is pressed. The FH bend continues here. The blade heats up and its tip bends inwards and downwards. According to the degree of bending, we distinguish 3 types of FH bending:

  • FH2 - the curve of the Factory Hook 2 (FH2) is concave along the entire length of the forehand of the blade, popular for shooting from the range. The tip copies the standard bend of the blade. The backhand of the blade is more cut, but still suitable for guiding the ball on this side of the blade.
  • FH4 - the curve of the Factory Hook 4 (FH4) is concave along the entire length of the forehand of the blade and with a slightly pre-bent tip downwards, popular especially for fine ball control. The backhand of the blade is more cut, but still suitable for guiding the ball on this side of the blade.
  • FHPM - a special slight bending of the blade intended for game creation, not for shooting.

A blade modified in this way will help you with loops, pull-ups, wrist shooting and a little bit with pull shooting, but it is not significant in pull shooting. There is almost no difference in the hammer and backhand shot compared to the original version of the blade.

Neck type

  • Flat - Flat means flat. Blades with this designation have a different neck shape. It is not classic round, but flat (square). This means that you will not put a classic stick on this blade, but only sticks from Fat Pipe, which have the name BEAT!

Blade types

When choosing a floorball blade, it's important to keep in mind that each blade is designed to suit different playing styles and player needs. The following information will give you a detailed insight into each type of blade to help you make a better decision.

1 Shooting Blades:

  • Features: These blades are optimized for shooting. They have a curved design with a deeper concave indentation (bend) which maximizes the contact area with the ball.
  • Advantages: Thanks to the deeper concave and curvature, it is possible to lock the ball better and create more spin when shooting. This allows players to shoot faster and more accurately.
  • For whom it is suitable: For players who prefer to shoot from a distance or those who are looking for maximum performance when shooting.

Fat Pipe JAB

The Jab blade is Fat Pipe's most successful floorball blade. Even though the entire blade is slightly pre-bent, the main one is the pre-bend of its tip. This pre-bend forms a cup, which gives you better control over the ball. Control over the ball is further improved by the fact that this pre-bent tip closes downwards.

2 Universal blades:

  • Characteristics: They have a medium curvature, which means they offer a good compromise between shooting and technique.
  • Benefits: Thanks to the balanced design, these blades are suitable for a wide range of game situations - from shooting to dribbling.
  • Who it's good for: It's a good choice for all players looking for flexibility in their game and for those who don't want to sacrifice either shooting or technique.

3 Technical Blades:

  • Characteristics: These blades have a flat design, which increases sensitivity and control over the ball.
  • Benefits: With minimal concave indentation, tricks, dribbles and short passes are easier to execute.
  • Who is it for: They are ideal for players who want to specialize in ball control, technical skills and tricks.

The important thing to remember is that your blade choice should reflect your personal playing style. For example, if you are a gamer who prefers to shoot, a shooting blade will probably be the best choice for you. On the other hand, if you are a more technically minded player, a technical blade will probably be the best choice. Universal blades are then a great starting point for those who are unsure of their play style or prefer multi-purpose.
