PowerLite technology is based on TourLite™ technology. These new improved shafts use a special carbon fiber structure. Salming discovered this special structure while developing squash rackets. This new material mixture has better absorption properties. Shafts from the PowerLite series are also among the lightest floorball shafts. This technology is characterized by the composition: 95% carbon and 5% Vectran - a special resin that makes these floorball sticks better. The older models are made of 100% carbon.
Salming KickZone™ is a floorball technology used in the highest professional models by Salming. KickZone™ provides a strong whip-effect. When you flex the shaft, it kicks back faster providing more power for your shot. This technology is based on a long arc, which makes your floorball stick softer. Basically, this technology makes a bow from your floorball stick. At the bending point, the shaft is 1mm narrower. This shaft is thus very flexible and strong. This technology give you higher ball speed. KickZone™ improves your shooting skills, however the prerequisite for playing with this technology is a 100% mastered technique of working with your floorball stick. Otherwise, this technology will make your game worse.
The blade Salming Hawk is a novelty for the 2017/18 season, considered as a pre-curved blade with a thinner frame. The blade itself excels above all with its structured forhend piece, which is creased all over its surface. This crinkling improves ball control on the blade and prevents unwanted rotation of the ball during shooting or passing from behind the body.
At the tip you can find Claw, where loops and pull-outs will be faster and more accurate. The Salming Hawk has a reinforced middle rib that prevents unwanted twisting of the blade when it is loaded. Our ambassadors Robin Nilsberth and Rasmus Sundstedt were involved in the development of this blade. On the heel there is printed glossy Salming Hawk logo.
CAUTION! The shaft is more slimmer than the other Salming blades in the Salming Hawk blade, plus a shaft with four notches in the shaft. Older shafty without any previous adjustment, assigning notches, do not fit properly into the blade, and you risk breaking the shaft in the lower part. Starting in the 2018/19 season, all shaft's longer than 80 cm will feature just four slots.
A professional grip from Salming Purity grip stands out from competing wraps mainly by its light weight. You can find it in white only because it has the best features. Grip is weight comparable with Tourlite WetTac, but it is a bit stronger.
Is not perforated.
