PowerLite technology is based on TourLite™ technology. These new improved shafts use a special carbon fiber structure. Salming discovered this special structure while developing squash rackets. This new material mixture has better absorption properties. Shafts from the PowerLite series are also among the lightest floorball shafts. This technology is characterized by the composition: 95% carbon and 5% Vectran - a special resin that makes these floorball sticks better. The older models are made of 100% carbon.
Salming KickZone™ is a floorball technology used in the highest professional models by Salming. KickZone™ provides a strong whip-effect. When you flex the shaft, it kicks back faster providing more power for your shot. This technology is based on a long arc, which makes your floorball stick softer. Basically, this technology makes a bow from your floorball stick. At the bending point, the shaft is 1mm narrower. This shaft is thus very flexible and strong. This technology give you higher ball speed. KickZone™ improves your shooting skills, however the prerequisite for playing with this technology is a 100% mastered technique of working with your floorball stick. Otherwise, this technology will make your game worse.
There are several types of handling shapes, but there is no universal recommendation which shape is the best. It is just a subjective feeling. For example: Oval is an oval profile of a floorball stick. Floorball sticks with oval handling are generally heavier, so Salming uses a lightweight material here, which reduces the weight of the stick. The Salming handling shapes are:
Professional Salming Raptor blade is a light and straighter blade. We recommend this blade to all players who enjoy fast and quick missiles and fast loops. Its flatter backhand side allows good ball control on the backhand side.
Salming Raptor Blade is a benefit of the Salming brand to the more straightforward blades for 2019/20. At first glance, the blade resembles its youngest predecessor, the Hawk. But the first look is confusing. The Salming Raptor blade is more straight than the Hawk or Quest 2 blades. All Raptor blade longitudinal ribs are T-shaped, ensuring perfect torsional stiffness (torsional stiffness).
On the lower edge of the blade are three back-packed backhand sides that also support and underline the stiffness of the blade. Designers were able to save the most weight on a thinner frame along the entire blade and on a sophisticated foot that is hollow from the backhand side. This blade was co-developed and tested by Albin Sjögren, player Storvreta IBK and the Swedish national team. The Salming Raptor shiny logo is printed on the foot. The blade is available in 4 materials and many colors.
Lightweight Salming Tourlite WetTac grip, which absorbs the sweat well and doesn't creep in hands.
