Salming 2020/2021

Sep 16, 2020, Thomas

The new season is coming. Let's take a look at the news by Salming! The new collection has a first-class design. The sticks have fewer colors and all the elements fit together perfectly. However, the biggest news is not the design, but the new Raven blade. Raven is based on the Salming Quest1 blade. In this new collection you can also find the new stick series called Xtremelite. Do you want to know more? Keep reading!

Salming RAVEN

Let's start with the best - the RAVEN blade. Salming wants to get the Raven blade to as many players as possible, so you can find it in all floorball stick series. Salming offers you Raven in 6 colors. Of course, there is also the most popular color - pink!

Raven is one of the lightest blades with a low concavity along the whole playing surface, starting immediately at the heel of the blade and running all the way to the tip. We recommend it to players who want faster and harder shots. Its flat surface allows for good ball control even on the backhand side. Raven is a combination of several blades. The shape is based on the Quest 1 blade. There are 2 ribs at the heel of Raven and 6 ribs in the center of this blade. Raven provides you a torsional rigidity so you can shoot with really great power.

The T-shape of the horizontal (longitudinal) ribs is based on the Raptor blade construction. This shape strengthens the blade and at the same time provides you with a larger contact area with the ball. The result is more accurate shooting - especially for sweeper shots.

Salming used the same feature as the Hawk blade. More precisely, the Raven blade also has a claw on the tip of the blade, making your game is faster and more accurate. Since the blade itself is minimally concave, slap shooting is difficult. The claw solves this problem. It keeps the ball on the blade, so the claw helps you with a ball control.

The Raven is only 72g, which makes this blade one of the lightest blade on the market.

Salming presents the completely new technology XtremLite, on which it built this new series. This technology contains the 100% carbon with modular graphite (the light and strong material used in aircraft). The XtremLite technology is more sophisticated and lighter than the PowerLite technology. The combination of carbon and modular graphite better transmits power through the entire floorball stick. This feature helps you with ball control and shooting accuracy. To keep the weight as low as possible, the XtremLite shafts are equipped with the lightweight Tourlite WetTac grip and Touch Plus blades.

All XtremLite sticks are in matte black with a glossy inscription XtremLite. The XtremLite SERIES contains the lightest sticks from Salming, but even more important than their weight are their blades. This series has sticks only with the latest blades - Hawk (2-year-old blade), Raptor (1-year-old blade) and Raven (this year's blade).

Only these 3 new blades are used + of course the most popular blade Quest 1 in all main series ( PowerLite ™, TourLite ™ or Composite). What does Salming want to tell us? Salming is sending the message that this is the end of the Quest Blades era. Now is the time for modern blades!

Salming Raven XtremeLite

Salming Raven XtremeLite is the main floorball stick of the new series XtremeLite. This is the top stick by Salming. This stick is very light. It is produced in lengths of 100 and 103 cm. Its weight in the size of 100 cm is 192 grams. Salming Raven XtremeLite flex is 27 mm. This flex is the best option for advanced players. Salming Raven XtremeLite is an ideal stick for technical players. The best part of this floorball stick is its blade. The Raven blade is a very versatile blade, which helps you with both slap and sweeper shooting. We recommend it to all players who want to become a sharpshooter.

As an alternative to this stick, Salming has prepared a stick with a technical blade - Salming Raptor XtremeLite or a stick with a shooting blade - Salming Hawk XtremeLite.

The whole XtremeLite SERIES is a very successful series with well-balanced and very light floorball sticks. These sticks are one of the best floorball sticks, especially for professional players, because the hobby sport environment is more aggressive. A better choice for hobby players is, for example, the TOURLITE series or the COMPOSITE series. They contain firm floorball sticks with good weight and excellent strength, so you don't have to worry about your floorball stick even in an aggressive environment.

As in previous years, Salming offers the Tourlite™ series as well. This sticks series contains firm and lightweight shafts. Salming used the highest quality lightweight carbon fibers to create TourLite® shafts. The composition of TOURLITE ™ floorball sticks is between 60/40 and 70/30 in favor of carbon. The floorball sticks from this series are one of the most popular floorball sticks in the world.

Salming Q1 Tourlite SR

The new Tourlite™ series is based on the Salming Q1 Tourlite SR. This stick contains 40% carbon/60% fiberglass. Because of its composition this floorball stick is very strong, so you can use it in aggressive play. The stick has an X3M grip and the most popular Salming blade Quest 1. All these factors make this floorball stick a real shooting weapon!

Salming Q1 Tourlite SR is produced in sizes 96 cm, 100 cm and 103 cm. Its weight in the size of 96 cm is 239grams and the stick flex is 27 mm. The sticks with this hardness are recommended for advanced players.

We have great news for junior players as well. You can also find the Salming Q1 Tourlite SR in the junior version. It is produced in lengths of 82, 87 and 92 cm. Of course, these sizes are with higher flex. In the size of 82 cm the flex is 35 mm, in 87 cm it is 33 mm and in 92 cm the flex is 31 mm. As you can see this stick is really for everyone!

The solid composite sticks and the model line COMPOSITE SERIES by Salming brings you consistent quality. The composite series is for those who require strong and durable sticks. These floorball sticks give you a great feeling for the ball and excellent quality. If you are a hobby player, your choice should be the COMPOSITE SERIES.

Salming Q5 Composite 27

Salming Q5 Composite 27 is the best floorball stick in the COMPOSITE SERIES! It is produced in lengths of 96 and 100 cm. Its weight in the size of 96 cm is 280 grams. The weight of this stick is still good, even though it is quite far from 200g. This stick is for all types of players because of its excellent Quest 5 blade. The Q5 blade is a very versatile blade, which helps you with both slap and sweeper shooting. We recommend this stick to all players who want to become sharpshooters.

As an alternative you can choose the Salming Q2 Composite 29+32. The design of these 2 sticks is the same. The difference is just in the hardness and in their blades. Instead of the quite popular Quest 5 blades, Salming used Quest 2 blades. The Quest 2 blade is ideal for slap shots. It is produced in the lengths of 82 cm and 87 cm with flex 32 mm and in the lengths of 96 cm and 100 cm with flex 29 mm. Its weight in the size of 96 cm is 275 grams.

Another great floorball stick is the Salming Hawk/Quest Composite 27 SMU. This floorball stick is for all players who want a good and a durable floorball stick. The Salming Hawk/Quest Composite 27 SMU has the advantage that you can choose between 2 variants - the Quest blade or the Hawk shooting blade.

Goalie equipment LEGEND GOALIE

Now it's time for the goalie. The new goalie series is called the Legend goalie series. This Legend series is very similar to the previous line Atilla. The Legend goalkeeper equipment is very comfortable and durable professional goalkeeper equipment. It helps you even during the most difficult matches and training. Both the pants and the jersey are comfortable and thus enable professional performance.

Salming Shoes

Salming also produces floorball shoes. The Salming shoes have as many stabilizing elements as possible to help them eliminate the risk of injury during your game. This new shoe collection is based on the Kobra, Hawk and Eagle shoe models.

Salming Hawk Court Men White/Black

Let's start with the best! Salming Hawk Court Men’s White/Black became the most popular and therefore the best-selling shoes of the last season. Their success guaranteed them a place in the new collection as well. No wonder, because taking into account the price/performance ratio, there are no better shoes by Salming.

In this new collection you can find not only this bestseller, but also for example the very successful Salming Viper 5 Shoe Men Fluo Green/Navy shoes or the Salming Eagle Shoe Men White. However, if you want to buy excellent shoes, look at the Salming Hawk 2 Shoe Men White/Black. There are both men's and the women's variants.

Salming Hawk 2 Shoe Men White/Black

Salming Hawk are indoor shoes with the low drop, unprecedented stability and excellent adhesion, so these shoes will allow you fast and excellent movement. The shoe weight is only 290g. The heel basket perfectly fixes and stabilizes your foot in the shoe and gives you a great feeling of stability and increased awareness of the body's movements and interaction with the floor.

Today we presented the new Salming collection. Just in case you are still unsure about your choice and would like advice, do not hesitate to contact us at: , where we are ready to advise you! ;-)
